Baptism At Embrace
Baptism is a powerful way to share your faith story. It’s a step of obedience that publicly shows your trust in Jesus and your new life in Him. It’s not what saves you—Jesus does that—but it’s a beautiful way to show the world what He’s done in your life.
When someone is baptized, they’re symbolically identifying with Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection—going under the water as a sign of dying to the old self, and coming up as a picture of new life.

Who Can Be Baptized?
Anyone who has placed their faith in Jesus and understands what He has done for them can be baptized—no matter your age or your past.
The Bible sums it up this way:
“Christ died for our sins… He was buried… He was raised on the third day.”
—1 Corinthians 15:3–4
If that’s the message you’ve believed, baptism is your next step.
What If I Was Baptized as a Baby?
That may have been a meaningful part of your spiritual journey. But throughout Scripture, baptism always follows a personal decision to trust and follow Jesus. If you’ve recently made that decision for yourself, we encourage you to consider being baptized now as your own step of faith.
What About Kids?
We want kids to understand what baptism means before taking that step. If your child is asking questions or curious about getting baptized, we’d love to talk more.
Do I Have to Be Baptized to Become a Member?
No—baptism isn’t required for membership at Embrace Assembly. But if you’re following Jesus, we believe it’s an important next step in your journey of faith. We do have a class
